Dermaquest Resurfacers
There is no down time with the resurfacers which make them the ideal treatment to fit in alongside your everyday.
Bare in mind that a few days after your resurfacer you may experience a little peeling on your skin. This is the natural process of your cell turnover increased by the ingredients. Also if you don't have any peeling it does not mean your peel has not worked. The ingredients remain in the skin layers for some time and continue to work after your facial. Alongside this it is paramount to follow all your aftercare advice to allow maximum results and your satisfaction with the treatment.
Selected AHA, BHA and Enzymes are chosen to work best for your concerns. A course of 6 treatments (1 every 2 weeks) is recommended.
Some stronger ingredients may require skin prep at least 2 weeks prior to treatments.

Dermaquest Facial Peel
Chemical Peels work on a deeper and more powerful level than resurfacers. Ingredients are used to safely remove dead skin cells.
You will see results after your first treatment, however a course of treatments is recommended to dramatically reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, scarring and sun damage.
During your peel you will experience an intense prickling sensation and possibly some heat on the skin, your therapist will fan you so that you feel more comfortable.
Peels may require some thought of timing as you will experience peeling of the skin for up to 10 day post peel. In this time you must refrain from picking and from direct sun exposure. It is also possible to experience a secondary peeling a further week on from the initial peel. You also must adhere to the post peel guidelines which will include no sweat or heat inducing activities such as the gym and swimming, sauna etc.
PRIOR TREATMENT WITH HOMECARE PRODUCTS MUST BE USED AT LEAST 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO FACIAL PEELS. YOU WILL BE ADVISED DURING A FREE CONSULTATION ON WHICH WILL BE BEST FOR YOU.
Specific peels are chosen depending on your skin concern. These peels work at a deeper level of the skin than a resurfacer.
3 peels are recommended, once a month with at least a 6 month gap before repeating.

Creating tiny, controlled injury to the skin to stimulate our own inflammatory response which causes the production of collagen. Fantastic results for acne scarring, pitting of the skin, uneven texture, fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and stretchmarks. A course of 6 is recommended of one every 4 weeks.
